I am born and raised in New Mexico! I graduated from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, CO where I earned a bachelors degree in Human Development while playing Division I softball on a scholarship.

My love of learning drove me back to school, enrolling at New Mexico State University to earn my Bachelors in Nursing, Masters in Nursing, and eventually, my Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2019. I am married to a wonderful man, and together, we are raising 3 beautiful children. We are a 5th generation (raising the 6th) cattle ranching family, which gives me a unique background as a health practitioner.

Lets skip the formalities and white coats--I want to be part of your family! I am so excited to bring a new version of old-time family health to Las Cruces!

Meet Erika, a dedicated Spanish-speaking medical assistant born and raised in the scenic landscapes of Colorado. As a mother of two, she understands the importance of balance, resilience, and dedication.

Erika's journey in healthcare began with her expertise in phlebotomy, where her compassionate approach and skillful techniques gained admiration. Transitioning into office management further sharpened her organizational and leadership skills. Erika's commitment to professional growth led her to become a certified medical assistant, integrating her knowledge of patient care, medical procedures, and administrative responsibilities seamlessly.

Today, as an important bilingual asset to the practice, Erika's compassionate care and efficient work ethic make her a valued team member and a vital resource for diverse patient needs.
